“A landscape of incredible beauty!”, Auguste Piccard is said to have stated after his emergency landing on the Gurgl glacier in 1931. Exactly there, at the very back of the Ötztal, is our home. With our apartments we offer our guests a cosy and beautiful place to stay in an exceptionally location: In the winter our apartments are next to the ski pistes and in the summer amidst a hiking paradise. Here you stay in a peaceful location yet close to the centre. Where nothing is in conflict with the magic of nature, holidays are a fantastic adventure in any season.

The Diamond of the Alps

Holiday paradise at the very back of the Ötztal

In the winter the Diamond of the Alps shines in white and its guests enjoy winter sports in the best ski area in the Ötztal. When everywhere else spring sets in with the first blooming flowers, we enjoy the warm spring sun during skiing, winter hiking etc. And when eventually summer arrives, we take our hiking boots out of the basement. The numerous hiking destinations and the nearby via ferrata are very popular. Moreover, for your holidays in our apartments the Ötztal Summer Card is already included.

If you like to make excursions, we have got some tips for you, such as the Timmeljoch high alpine road, the Area47, the Aqua Dome or the Ötzi Village. After an exciting day filled with great experiences and unforgettable moments, your cosy apartment at the Haus Elisabeth awaits you and your loved ones!
