Sheltered by the high mountain ranges, here only 800mm of rain falls every year … and that is about half as much as in the Bavarian mountains. And the sun shines for 10% longer than in Bolzano too. Because the mountain air in Obergurgl-Hochgurgl is low in irritants, sufferers from pollen allergies have few problems, even during the main flowering season. So, take a deep breath and enjoy your holiday!
