At the end of the Ötztal Valley a new horizon emerges. From 1,800 up to 3,080 metres in altitude you will have at your feet access to more than 110 kilometres of the finest slopes. 24 lifts carry guests to the ski area with no waiting times. Snow-assured from mid-November to early May. 90% of all pistes in Obergurgl-Hochgurgl can be artificially snowed. This means that the resort's reputation as the "most snow-assured winter sports resorts in the Alps" is technically justified.

Haus Elisabeth is right next to the new Gaisberg lift. You can strap on your skis directly in front of your holiday apartment and get started!

The piste is floodlit three times a week, so you can enjoy night skiing opportunities.

"TOP-EXPRESS Gurgl" connecting lift from Obergurgl to Hochgurgl

An 8-person cabin lift connects the ski areas of Obergurgl and Hochgurgl. The journey on the 3.6 km long lift takes only nine minutes. The panoramic gondola lift climbs the Königtal and Verwalltal Valleys, granting the skier unparalleled views of the surrounding glacial peaks.

The track for sledgers in Hochgurgl has been open since the winter 2009/2010. A new, three-kilometre, winding natural toboggan run leads from the Hochgurgl mountain station down to Pill valley station. The ascent from Pill is quick and easy on the Hochgurgl lift. The toboggan run is lit at night twice a week.

Sporty winter guests can also explore the region on breathtaking ski tours, keep fit on 12 km of cross-country trails and enjoy the total silence of the freshly snow-covered winter forest on a winter or snowshoe walk.
